Akira is Takumi's roommate. He is basically the average boy in which most of the students thinks he is cute/hot. However, in their room, Akira has a curtain surrounding his side of the room. It was later on that we find that Akira is actually a girl, a HiME, disguised as a boy, as well as a ninja. Akira had to defeat an Orphan who was going to attack Takumi. According to Takumi, Akira was the secret ninja that protects the school. One day, Takumi was preparing food and accidentally spilled it all over Akira. She went to the bathroom to clean up and Takumi entered without knocking and saw Akira was a girl. Akira leapt at him and muttered that if anyone would find out that she was a female, her father told her to kill them. She didn't kill him though.
